Looking for Mother's day, Father's day, Birthday, Wedding, Graduation and Christmas gifts, I invite you to come in and take a look. All the items in the store are handcrafted by me and one of a kind. I have made art pieces that people enjoy looking at in their homes to kitchenware that people use daily. I like selling items to the first-time customer, but the repeat business assures me they really enjoy my products. Because I sell at my web store and at art shows sometimes items become low. I'm always updating so call or check back later.
Thanks for looking, Steve Windham

Spoons
My regular spoons and spatulas are made with an old time look. The same way my dad showed me how to make. That was forty eight years ago. I like to call them my working spoons. People have told me that they like the way I make my spoon handles with notches. It feels good in their hand and it won't get away from you. I still make all my spoons by hand, which turns in to very long days. Sense I make my spoons by hand they not all alike, I keep them close as possible. The handles are straight, which works well for left or right handed people. I started making, what I like to call Fancy spoons. These spoons have nice flowing curves, where the top is flat and the sides are rounded. You have really good control while cooking and feels good in your hand. You'll love these. I only make these in my most popular designs. If you're looking for an unique spoon, take a look at my Resting spoons. You just rest the spoon on the edge of the pot. No spills, the food stays in the pot. Later I will be bringing my Speckled spoon back, so keep an eye out. You can also visit the Mississippi Crafts Center to purchase my spoons.
Peppermills
I make an 8, 10 and 12 inch peppermills. The 8 and 10 inch can be made into saltmills. (Only on request) I hunt for the right piece of wood and look at my old furniture designs to make them beautiful, unusual and unique. Mechanism Used: I use the same grinders as Pinky Martin on the Oprah Show. My peppermill grinders are manufactured by "Chef Specialties" that has been producing quality metal components for three generations. Theses grinders are crafted from solid, cutlery-grade stainless steel to withstand the rigors of commercial use. With the lowest return rate in the food service industry, it's not a surprise that "Chef Specialties" peppermill grinders are considered the finest by many of the world's top Executive Chefs. These mechanisms carry a lifetime warranty, which is backed up by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. My salt mills are fitted with non-corroding nylon gears. Salt and pepper shakers come with plastic inserts and screw tops for easy refills.
Salad Bowls
I hunt, cut and dry the largest pieces of logs I can find. Some have knots, which are filled and sanded. Makes for a unique bowl. All bowls have a food safe sealer and then waxed. Bowls are one of a kind and art pieces by them self.
Cutting Boards
I only make six different types of boards. I make each board different. No two the same. Every day boards, sandwich boards, cheese boards, bread boards and German plates.
- Every day boards are about 10-11 inches wide, 18 inches long and 1 1/4 inch thick
- Rib boards are about 15 inches wide, 24 inches long and 1 1/4 inch thick
- Sandwich boards are about 7-8 inches wide, 12 inches long and 3/4 inch thick
- Vegetable boards are about 9 inches wide, 15 inches long and 3/4 inch thick
- Cheese boards are about 9 inches wide, 9 inches long and 3/4 inch thick
- Bread boards are about 6 inches wide, 24 inches long and 1/2 inch thick
German plates are 14 inches square and 1/2 inch thick. These are not cutting boards, they are eating plates
Care Products
I make and sell a wax I use on all my products. Bowl wax is used for cleaning and protecting the wood. Its food safe, made with bees wax, carnauba wax and mineral oil. I came up with a combination that I like and will not melt on the shelve. It comes with an abrasive pad, which can be cleaned and reused. Spoon oil is 100% natural food grade mineral oil. This is a quick way to take care of all your spoons, bowls and boards.
